Scholarships

 

Welcome to the Chugach Heritage Foundation Scholarship Program. CHF offers scholarships to support students seeking college and university degrees (Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate), vocational certificates, and job training.

Scholarship recipients are expected to maintain a GPA of 2.0 or higher. Failure to maintain a 2.0 GPA will result in a loss of continued funding.

Scholarship amounts are based on full time status as determined by your institution. Applicants enrolled at less then full time status will be awarded a prorated scholarship.

Associate level and one or two year certificate seeking students are eligible for up to $4,800 annually.

Junior and Senior level undergraduates earning their bachelors degree are eligible for $6,000 annually.

Undergraduate students earning a GPA of 3.5 or above are eligible for a $1,200 maximum bonus per year.


Graduate level students are eligible for $12,000 annually.

Vocational Training funding is limited to $4,000 per academic year. This funding is awarded to students registered for training that will broaden their employment opportunities or maintain their skill level. For example: HAZWOPER certification, or any classes required to maintain job-related licenses. Applications are accepted anytime.
